Burnout Awareness (Leading Self)

On Tuesday, February 4th, I attended a Student Leadership Institute session about burnout awareness. At this SLI, we completed bingo cards about our level of burnout, SMART goal bingo card, discussed the stressors of scheduling, and how to do our best to prevent burnout.

Winter Weather Readiness (Leading Self)

On Thursday, February 6th, I attended a Student Leadership Institute session about how to be prepared for winter weather. Ironically, this SLI was moved to Zoom due to the dangerous conditions of the winter weather. At this SLI, we discussed outfit preparedness, how to report dangers of the weather, wind chills, and more.

Fuel Your Body and Mind Through Food 

(Leading Self)

On Tuesday, February 11th, I attended a Student Leadership Institute session about the nutrition surrounding mental and physical health. At this SLI, we learned about our health like a table with its legs. We discussed the prevalence of carbs, protein, and fat in our diet, as well as vitamins and the symptoms resulting from a lack in those vitamins. I won many prizes (not all pictured) for participating and answering questions!
